Eurasia’s leading HVAC&R Trade Fair, ISK-SODEX 2025, concluded successfully after four vibrant days held across nine halls at the Istanbul Expo Center. Bringing together 1,000 brands from 22 countries — 262 of which were international exhibitors — and tens of thousands of professional visitors, the Trade Fair became the beating heart of the HVAC&R industry. In addition to pavilions from Germany, China, and Uzbekistan, participants from the United States, Austria, the United Kingdom, South Korea, India, Finland, and Japan also took part, paving the way for global collaborations. More than 1,600 B2B meeting requests were received through the ISK-SODEX B2B Platform, resulting in 528 concrete purchasing meetings that turned into tangible business partnerships during the Trade Fair. As part of the Hosted Buyer Program, over 300 industry leaders from 61 different countries visited the Trade Fair

Held for the 17th time at the Istanbul Expo Center under the main theme of “Vital Cycle”, ISK-SODEX 2025 once again became the focal point for innovations shaping the industry between October 22–25. For the first time, ISK-SODEX 2025 implemented a carbon footprint measurement practice, calculating emissions across all stages — from the preparation phase and energy consumption to supply chain and logistics operations. The resulting data will serve as a valuable reference point for the sector’s carbon reduction strategies. Featuring 1,000 brands from 22 countries and hosted across nine halls, the Trade Fair welcomed thousands of visitors. Alongside the pavilions from Germany, China, and Uzbekistan, exhibitors from the United States, Austria, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, the Czech Republic, India, and Japan were also present. Over 1,600 B2B meeting requests were received via the SODEX B2B Platform, resulting in 528 B2B purchasing meetings. Additionally, more than 300 professionals from 61 different countries attended the Trade Fair under the Hosted Buyer Program.

A Global Event Chain from Deutsche Messe: From Istanbul to Riyadh

Organized by Deutsche Messe in cooperation with Hannover Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık and co-organizers ISKAV, DOSİDER, İSKİD, İZODER, TTMD, POMSAD, SOSİAD, ESSİAD, MTMD, and KBSD, ISK-SODEX 2025 showcased product groups in HVAC-R, Insulation, Pumps, Valves, Installation, Water Treatment, Fire Protection, Pool, and Solar Energy Systems. Following the success in Istanbul, Deutsche Messe is now preparing to bring together the industrial world once again — this time in Riyadh. Organized in cooperation with Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC), Saudi Arabia’s largest fair and conference organizer, ISK-SODEX Saudi will take place from November 16–19, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Young HVAC Professionals Came Together

In the Forum Area, 24 panels were held, covering key topics such as “Energy Transformation,” “Heat Pumps,” “New Technologies in Industrial Cooling,” and “Digitalization.” A total of 38 distinguished speakers shared insights into the future of the HVAC industry. As part of the Campus Project, aimed at encouraging young talent to join the industry, high school and university students met with sector professionals. Sponsored by Rothenberger and Yıldırım Klima, the “Young HVAC Professionals Compete” event gave students the chance to demonstrate their technical skills. The competition, which lasted two days, featured the Cooling category on the first day (supported by the Provincial Directorate of National Education and SOSİAD) and the Heating category on the second day (supported by DOSİDER). At the Career Point area, organized in cooperation with Eleman.net, students were offered internship and job opportunities through interviews with company representatives. More than 600 students and 20 company representatives received career counseling. In addition, the “If I Had a Superpower” themed art contest allowed young artists to illustrate their dreams for a sustainable world. The winning artworks were displayed throughout the Trade Fair, attracting much attention from visitors. The ISK-SODEX Trade Fair Lottery once again brought excitement and prizes to visitors this year.

Great Interest in the ISK-SODEX B2B Platform

Winner of the Strategic Transformation Award, the ISK-SODEX B2B Platform accelerated business matchmaking during the Trade Fair. Accessible before the event, the platform connected participants and professional visitors using artificial intelligence and smart matching algorithms based on their areas of interest. Premium-positioned companies significantly boosted booth traffic and visibility through advanced digital services. Over 1,600 B2B meeting requests were received through the platform, resulting in 528 successful B2B purchasing meetings that translated into concrete partnerships. As part of the Hosted Buyer Program, over 300 industry professionals from 61 countries attended the Trade Fair. The 100-member delegation from Egypt continued their B2B meetings throughout the event. The next edition of ISK-SODEX is already scheduled: ISK-SODEX 2027 will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 20–23, 2027.
